A day before the event, on Jan 26, The World Jewish Congress reported on that retired Polish Bishop Tadeusz Pieronek accused Jews of exploiting the Holocaust for propaganda purposes -- and even more appalling, he compared and criticized Israel for building a separation barrier between its territory and the West Ban with Nazism. President of the European Jewish Congress, Moshe Kantor, spoke out in outrage and grave disappointment at the Bishop's remarks.
