Ehud Barak is the most highly decorated soldier in IDF history. After a distinguished career in the Israel Defense Forces , Mr. Barak made his headway into the political arena serving as Minister of the Interior, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Defense Minister, and finally as Prime Minister in 1999. After a hiatus from politics, Ehud Barak returned to government and currently serves as Israel's Defense Minister.
