Mitchel Resnick began his carrer as a technology correspondent for Newsweek Magazine. After five years of writing and documenting about events, Professor Resnick decided to switch to a more hands on development approach. Currently Resnick manages to mix his passions for children and technology by heading the development of some of the most innovative and engaging learning technologies in the world, including those of LEGO mindstorms and Scratch! Resnick also directs teaches courses at MIT and contributes to his ongoing quest to make life better for less privileged children through his computer club house initiative, thought his role director role at the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT media laboratory).
