A very charismatic and playful, yet extremely professional Sara Sommerfeld , is far from your familiar klezmer & bagel girl. Born in Sweden into an immigrant Jewish family from Poland, as a child Sara aspired to be both an actress and a prima ballerina. While Sara worked very hard to fulfill her dreams, in 7th grade, she got an important role in a musical performance that forced her to choose between her two passions. In the end, Sara chose acting to be her destiny.

Sara Sommerfeld is a successful film, theatre and TV actress who lives and works in Sweden. Among her many awards in International film festivals (see Sara's CV) she won the award for best actress at The Nordic Film Festival Haugesund, Norway.  As a child, Sara played many parts in different movies such roles as in Ingmar Bergman's "The Best Intentions".  The difference between child actors playing roles similar to their selves, Sara now views her main professional challenge as portraying a variety of genres that are far from her own personality.
