Dr. David LeVine is the medical director at Menorah Manor, a nursing home in St. Petersburg, Florida. Every Sunday night for the past 22 years, David has been teaching an Israeli Folk Dancing class in the activities room in the nuring home. It is open to the community and completely free. People of all ages and religions from all over the area come to participate. The residents of the nursing home also are invited to watch and they come each week. The joy and memories Israeli Dancing brings to those participating or watching is indescribable. He is a hero for providing free religious, social, and physical activity for the community while enriching the lives of the Jewish elderly.
