I must say that it amazes me that there are such people. and that i never heard about them. I think of my self as a educated person, and these types to articles make me realize how much i still must learn.
although I'm a very creative person, this art form was always hard for me to comprehend. Dana gave me a intersting look in.
The fact that he was there, just help draw some fire to him. Maybe even the fact that the whole thing was done by "not so nice to people" countries help raise the awareness to the topic.
After all if it was a REAL human rights summit...no one would really care about it at all.
I think you have to have other people to act anchors in which you can define yourself and you identity - in that case, one does not have to have a community to define his or her identity, a simple group of others is enough.
Yet if one want to deeply define himself, one must connect to a heritage - which is something that millions collectively created over long periods of time...that would mean you's need a community.

I don't think so. one has o have a clear stand on how things should be done. it won't always be the easiest way, but if you stick to your beliefs - you might just pull it off. parties that just want to get things done "easy", they have no chance, today this is the easy way tomorrow it's a totally different story.
well there's really not any other way, it's just a matter of hitting hard enough...
I think that as dangerous as it is to have full freedom of speech, it's much safer than restricting it - as one never knows where that ends.
This guy's really cool. i'd love to see him make it.
