Nope, the time has come for Leadel.NET (along with the rest of the online-Jewish-community-blogosphere apparently) get off their brainstorming phase, rear into gear, and because of it, BIG things (bigger than usual) are happening! So, here's the latest and the greatest, a blurb on each, and some food for thought to keep you checking in for more over the next few weeks. . .

FIRST, this coming Sunday we've got a Jerusalem Shuk based TweetUP sponsored by all of your favorites:  Jewlicious, WarWarZone.com, JewTube, etc...We'll be there, of course.  Also I hope to see all those friendly faces from our other recent events -- bloggers, tweeters, shofar blowers -- you're all welcome.

That's Sunday down.  Also, in the same week, in the same city the annual Israeli Presidential Conference 2009 will take place on October 21-22.  With a Tag Line like, "Facing Tomorrow" you better be sure that Leadel won't miss a glimpse of the action and come back to you will reports, interviews, and the insider edition with only the most interesting participants. Next item on the agenda, our date is finally set for our next Leadel LIVE meeting.  The last broadcast was very successful, so be sure to tune in again on October 28, 2009 to witness Yuli Edelstein, Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs LIVE video conference with Jewish Community members in Budapest, Hungary.

AND, Last but Not least our "Jews that Do" Contest!!!

That's right!  Dust off those creative thinking hats and start brainstorming ideas of your favorite Jewish Hero/mentor/Do-er/whatever -- because in the following weeks we will be launching a Contest.  Yes, a Contest.  What is it, you ask?  "Jews that Do" is one of Leadel's most exciting interactive ideas yet! The contest will provide contestants with an outlet to become a part of the media and spotlight his/her own Jewish Do-er.
